We are currently looking to recruit several HGV/LGV (C+E) Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client for Refrigerated/Frozen & Chilled Distribution company in Spalding for deliveries nationwide throughout the UK. Guaranteed 48 hours a week (any 5 days from 7). This role may involve some Night Out duties. We welcome PAYE Drivers only for these roles. You must have no more than 6 points (speeding only), No DD/DR/MS or CU convictions or Bans, hold a Digital Tachograph Card and DCPC qualifications, and have at least 6 months proven on the road experience within the past 12 months. Knowledge Required : Understanding of Drivers Hours and Tachograph Regulations and Laws. Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network. Good knowledge of secure loading practices. Fridge RDC deliveries experience preferred.
Responsible for delivering and collecting mainly food products. Ensuring all work undertaken is done in line with current driver’s hours, Tachograph and Working Time Directive legislation. Mainly Refrigerated/Frozen Chilled deliveries/reloads. Palletised work. No handball. Start times vary between from 00:00 and 02:00 and 10:00-14:00 hrs
